Clinical Supervision

All behaviour practitioners require clinical supervision to ensure their practise remains ethical and up to date. Clinical supervision provides the opportunity to discuss cases and review relevant literature and policies while linking to the theoretical cornerstones of positive behaviour support.

At supporting positively we offer the following types of supervision:

  • BCBA supervision

  • PBS BTEC level 5

  • General clinical supervision

All clinical supervision is tailored to your needs.

Individual Support

The aim of individual support is for people to be supported positively, to improve their quality of life and increase their skill set. We use systematic assessment methods to establish the support needs of the individual. We always work with the person and the people around them to design the best support for the individual and their environment.

Following assessment, we use behaviour skills training and coaching techniques to enable everyone around the individual to implement the support techniques consistently to make a meaningful difference.

All individual level support is tailored to your needs.

Home Programmes

Every child is unique, with their own strengths, difficulties and learning style; so, support that meets their specific needs is essential.  Using an evidence-based approach, we aim to work collaboratively with the child, their family, and any relevant professionals to support the development of age-appropriate skills (e.g. communication, social interaction, play, academic and daily living skills) and reduce the need for behaviours that may challenge. To help us achieve this, we offer the following services:

  • Initial assessment

  • Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) and Programme development

  • Training for tutors and family members

  • Ongoing support with regular workshops/emails/calls

  • Updated targets and the re-assessment of skills

All home programmes are tailored to your needs
